Responsibilities
- Develop and grow customers across fastener clusters (Ludhiana, Rajkot, Chennai), spring makers, LRPC and tyre bead producers, and forging houses (Bharat Forge, Ramkrishna, MM Forgings)
- Drive grade qualification and PPAP approvals with Tier-1 auto OEMs
- Set pricing architecture for premium grades; track Chinese imports and competitor moves
- Forecast grade-wise demand for rolling mill campaign planning; coordinate with metallurgy and QA
- Own realisation, credit, and collections for the wire rod book
Required Experience
- 8 - 15 years in steel sales, with 5+ years marketing special-grade wire rods
- Must have worked at JSW (Vijayanagar / Salem), Tata Steel (Jamshedpur), or JSPL (Patratu / Raigarh) or at Mukand Sumi, Sunflag, Kalyani, Vardhman, or Mahindra Sanyo
- Hands-on experience marketing: CHQ (SWRCH), high carbon (HC 6082A, PSC, tyre bead, ACSR), spring steel (SAE 9254, 51CrV4, 55Cr3, 60Si2MnA), and alloy / forging grades (20MnCr5, 16MnCr5, SCM420, EN-series)
- Track record of an order book 100,000 TPA in special grades
