Required Experience & Expertise:
- Minimum 10+ years of extensive experience in melting and metal manufacturing operations, preferably in copper and non-ferrous process industries.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Foundry Operations (Ferrous & Non-Ferrous) with proven exposure to high-capacity industrial melting operations.
- Prior experience in Copper CCR Rod Plant melting operations will be highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Melting processes, furnace operations, and molten metal management
- Raw material charging, alloy composition control, and yield optimization
- Production planning, process control, and continuous operational improvement
- Furnace performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance coordination
- Industrial quality systems, laboratory operations, testing procedures, and process compliance standards
- Chemical, physical, and metallurgical testing related to copper production
- Manpower planning, shift management, and shop-floor discipline in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Proven capability to achieve production targets while minimizing metal loss, rejection, energy consumption, and operational downtime.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to handle critical production operations under high-pressure manufacturing conditions.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Must ensure strict adherence to safety standards, operational procedures, and production efficiency benchmarks.
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.
