KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sr.No.Role & Responsibilities
1. Category Partnership & Day-to-Day Insight Support
- Act as the day-to-day insights partner to brand and category teams
- Support the Global Category Insights Manager in:
- Framing business questions
- Translating them into insight requirements
o Delivering timely and relevant consumer insights
- Prepare insight inputs for:
o Brand reviews
- Innovation and renovation discussions
- Communication development
- Category and leadership forums
- Proactively anticipate upcoming business decisions and flag insight needs ahead of formal requests
2. Research Input Management & Integration
- Work closely with:
- Consumer Research & Partnerships Manager
- Consumer Research Excellence Manager to ensure research outputs meet category needs
- Review and synthesise inputs from:
- Primary research
- Usage & Attitude studies
- Brand health trackers
- Ad-hoc category studies
- Ensure insights are integrated and synthesised, not reported in silos
3. Analysis & Insighting
- Analyse research outputs to identify:
- Consumer behaviours, needs, and tensions
- Performance drivers and barriers o Emerging opportunities and risks
- Join the dots across studies, data points, and markets
- Translate analysis into:
- Clear insight narratives
- Business implications
- Action-oriented recommendations
4. Always-on Learning & Category Knowledge
- Support development of: o Category learning summaries
- Periodic insight updates
- Thematic deep-dives
- Maintain a strong grasp of:
- What we know about the consumer
- What is changing
- Where the gaps are
- Contribute to building a cumulative learning agenda for the category
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Brand Managers and Assistant Brand Managers
- Innovation and communication teams
- Analytics and market intelligence colleagues
- Ensure insights are:
o Clear o Relevant o Delivered at the right time
- Proactively flag emerging consumer or market signals to the Category Insights Manager
