About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Program Advisor to guide prospective students through the admissions journey, provide career counseling, and drive enrollments for our educational programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for helping students make informed career decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding academic programs, career opportunities, and admission requirements.
- Conduct telephonic and virtual counseling sessions to understand student needs and recommend suitable programs.
- Drive student enrollments through effective sales and relationship-building strategies.
- Manage the complete admissions lifecycle from lead generation to enrollment closure.
- Follow up with leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
- Explain program features, benefits, fee structures, and career outcomes to prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to improve conversion rates.
- Ensure a seamless and positive student experience throughout the admission process.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; MBA (Marketing) preferred.
- Experience in Inside Sales, B2C Sales, Educational Sales, or EdTech Sales.
- Strong understanding of Business Development and sales processes.
- Experience in Career Counseling, Admission Counseling, or Student Counseling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to build rapport, influence decision-making, and close sales effectively.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
Preferred Experience
- Education Industry / EdTech experience.
- Admissions and enrollment management experience.
- Exposure to counseling students for higher education, certification, or professional programs.
