We are seeking a dynamic and technically strong Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager - Sales to manage and grow business for Life Science, Nanoscience Analytical Instruments in the Karnataka, NCR Region, Gujarat, Maharashtra Uttar Pradesh region. The candidate will be responsible for territory development, key account handling, technical presentations, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Territory Management
Drive sales for a wide range of life science instruments including:
- Microvolume UV-Vis Spectrophotometer / Nanophotometer
- 5 Element Microprocessor Controlled Flame Photometer
- Atomic Force Microscopes (AFM-SPM)/Scanning Tunneling Microscopes (STM)
- Surface Plasmon Spectrometers (SPR) Advanced Cell Counter
- IR VIVO Animal Imaging Hyper Spectral Imaging Systems, NIR Microplate Readers
- Automated Cryogenics/Biobanking, Compound Storage Retrieval, Lab Automation and
LIMS/Compound Management Data Analysis.
Achieve assigned monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Build and manage business across academic institutes, CSIR/ICAR/ICMR/IISER/DBT Labs, IITs, AIIMS, Biotech Startups, Pharma companies.
Identify new opportunities and strategically expand market share.
Technical Support Demonstrations
  • Conduct instrument demonstrations, seminars, customer training sessions, and technical presentations.
  • Provide scientific support during presales and post-sales activities.
  • Recommend appropriate product solutions based on customer requirements.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Maintain long-term relationships with key customers and influencers.
  • Handle enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
  • Ensure timely communication and customer satisfaction.
Reporting Coordination
  • Maintain sales reports, forecasting, and Salesforce CRM entries.
  • Collaborate with the service, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
  • Participate in exhibitions, workshops, and promotional campaigns.
Required Qualifications
  • M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology / Life Sciences or related specialization.
  • 3 - 7 years of experience in sales of Life science, Nanoscience Analytical lab instruments.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory research workflows
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel across the assigned territory.
