We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis I to join our FB Production team in the Chinese cuisine domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and presentation, with excellent culinary skills.

Roles and Responsibility

• Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.


• Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, noodles, and desserts.


• Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in food preparation and service.


• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.


• Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commis I in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.


• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.


• Ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation in food preparation and service.


• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, and the ability to use them safely and efficiently.


• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the culinary arts.
