We are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional to be a part of our growing central operations team based in India.The successful candidate should have an accounting or financial academic background as a foundation. This is a hands-on Accounts Receivable role where you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end receivables process, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, customer account reconciliations, cash application, and accurate month-end reporting. You will also support revenue reconciliation, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure all financial controls, compliance requirements, and reporting deadlines are met. Key Responsibilities
Reconciliation of Revenue on daily basis. Highlight & sort the discrepancies. Check Open folios, No shows & cancellations of PMS. Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Oversee the accounts receivable, credit, bill collection and all related areas. Need to post intercompany entries or allocate the costs to sister concerns. Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices Develop, maintain, and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Any other work as assigned by the Line Manager or senior management
Preferred candidate profile
The candidate must be graduate in finance or accounts and have previous accounting experience preferably in the hospitality industry Ideally qualified or part-qualified in CA or CMA Can work with minimal supervision Knowledge of working on accounting softwares like Xero and QuickBooks will be an added advantage Well versed with accounting principles and financial reporting practices Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Vigorous time management skills and a proven ability to balance multiple priorities by considering risk, importance and level of urgency Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal Excellent knowledge of MS Office
