JOB TITLE : Site Engineer POSITION DESCRIPTION : The Site Junior Engineer will assist in the day-to-day supervision of construction works at a premium high-rise residential development in Gurugram, India. The project consists of 8 luxury apartment towers with a total built-up area of approximately 690,000 m. Reporting to the Site Engineer, the Junior Engineer will be responsible for field-level monitoring, supporting inspection activities, and assisting with documentation and coordination to ensure that work is executed in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications. This position provides early-career engineers with exposure to a high-rise project environment and an opportunity to develop core skills in quality assurance, safety compliance, and on-site coordination. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILIITES : - Monitor site execution activities under the guidance of Site and Senior Engineers. - Assist in verifying work against construction drawings and specifications. - Support the preparation of daily progress reports, inspection checklists, and photo documentation. - Coordinate with subcontractors for daily activity alignment and progress tracking. - Help in managing material receipt checks and site storage conditions. - Participate in safety walks, toolbox talks, and site cleanliness inspections. - Assist in compiling documentation for inspections, handovers, and quality audits. - Report discrepancies, non-conformities, or safety concerns to supervisors. - Support logistical coordination for tools, equipment, and temporary facilities. - Maintain field reports and assist in updating site status dashboards or records. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of on-site experience in high-rise or large building construction. - Familiarity with reading drawings and basic construction workflows. - Basic knowledge of Indian standards and site safety practices. - Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for documentation and reporting. - Good communication skills in English and local language (mandatory). - Willingness to work full-time at the project site in Gurugram, India.
