JOB TITLE : Logistic Manager POSITION DESCRIPTION : The Logistic Manager will oversee all construction logistics planning and implementation for a high-rise luxury residential project in Gurugram, India, which consists of 8 apartment towers and a total built-up area of approximately 690,000 m. This role plays a central function in ensuring smooth material movement, site access, traffic control, and storage arrangements, aligned with the construction schedule and safety requirements. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Logistic Manager will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, suppliers, site engineers, and safety teams to manage on-site logistics operations, prepare logistics plans, and ensure uninterrupted workflow for construction activities while maintaining site order and security. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILIITES : - Develop and implement a comprehensive site logistics plan including vehicle access routes, unloading zones, material staging areas, and storage layouts. - Coordinate delivery schedules with contractors and suppliers to avoid congestion and ensure just-in-time delivery. - Oversee the setup of temporary site infrastructure such as gates, fencing, access roads, and signage. - Liaise with construction and planning teams to align logistics planning with construction sequencing and crane strategies. - Monitor daily site movements and resolve logistics-related bottlenecks that may delay project activities. - Ensure safe and compliant movement of materials and equipment within the construction site. - Coordinate with HSE teams to enforce traffic safety, emergency access, and pedestrian flow zones. - Maintain records of deliveries, logistics-related incidents, and site activity logs. - Review contractor logistics submissions including traffic management plans and material handling strategies. - Participate in site coordination meetings and report on logistics performance and risks. - Support planning for material storage optimization, waste management flow, and final material handover logistics.. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. - Minimum 15 years of experience in construction logistics planning and site management, especially on high-rise or large urban projects. - Knowledge of site layout optimization, vertical transportation strategies, access control systems, and safety zoning. - Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and logistics coordination platforms. - Familiarity with local construction regulations and logistics practices. - Strong organizational, coordination, and reporting skills. - Fluency in English is required; local language skills is mandatory. - Willingness to work full-time at the project site in Gurugram, India.
