ROLE DESCRIPTION
Role Objective
Drive end-to-end national business growth for the assigned vertical by leading Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), expanding market presence, strengthening distribution networks, and ensuring achievement of sales, revenue, and profitability targets across all regions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual national sales targets (Primary & Secondary) for the vertical.
- Drive revenue growth and market share across all regions.
- Lead, manage, and develop Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
- Cascade targets to RSMs and ensure achievement of regional goals.
- Monitor sales performance and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure team accountability.
- Build a strong execution-driven sales team through coaching and field engagement.
- Expand distribution network and improve market coverage across geographies.
- Drive new distributor onboarding and increase outlet productivity.
- Ensure strong in-market execution of trade schemes, promotions, and brand visibility.
- Ensure product availability and coordination with supply chain to avoid stock-outs.
- Track secondary sales performance and competitor activity.
- Ensure timely collections, control receivables, and maintain credit discipline.
- Maintain MIS, reporting accuracy, and system compliance across RSMs.
- Conduct regular business reviews and report performance to senior management.
