spareRole & responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Identify and pursue spares opportunities with:
- NTPC
- State Gencos
- IPPs
- EPC contractors
- Cement & steel (for ash/Material handling)
- Increase Indures spares revenue YoY.
- Maintain systematic follow-up of inquiries.
2. Client Engagement
- Regular customer visits (12 to 15 days/month).
- Build strong relationships with plant heads, maintenance heads, and stores.
- Understand annual maintenance requirements and plan yearly spare bundles.
3. Technical Sales
- Prepare techno-commercial offers.
- Identify correct part numbers, quantities, and specifications.
- Coordinate with the factory for delivery timelines.
- Provide customized solutions (revamp, upgradation, AMC).
4. Sales Process Management
- Create sales funnel & update CRM weekly.
- Track RFQs, offers, negotiations, PO receipts.
- Ensure timely payment follow-up.

Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / B.Tech Mechanical or Electrical
- 3 to 7 years of experience in industrial sales (preferably power sector)
- Strong communication, persistence, and motivation
- Ability to understand technical drawings and BOMs
- Target-driven personality
