Purpose - Why does this role exist?
Key Customer Account Manager for handling sales & operations with volume 12000-15000 MT to Chennai based customers
Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)
- Achieving the Sales Targets for roll products in Chennai region
- Adhering to timely collections from customers as per credit policy
- Sales of High Value /High NSR products of Special steels
- Focus on sales of Value added products viz Annealed,Bright bars.
Critical Task
MANDATORY- KRAs and Key Activities
1. New customer and new business development update in Sales Force.
2. Handling Order management operations in SAP, raising Delivery Order, coordinate with logistics
and customers.
3. Handling customer complaints negotiation and settlement.
Decision making authority (Decisions expected)
- Understanding the customer requirement and book orders based on plant capability and feasibility for supplies.
Educational Background and Work Experience
- Engineering MBA,knowledge of SAP, work experience of 5-10 years.
Competencies
- Handling Branch operations, conversant on commercial terms and conditions
- Having good relationship with Chennai customers ability to Collect orders and collections.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet Sales targets
- Ability to work out proactively towards problem solving
- To be persuasive and negotiate
