Purpose of the Job
JSW One Finance is looking for a high-performing Business Analyst to lead portfolio analysis and drive data-backed financial decision-making across the platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, proficiency in advanced data visualization and reporting tools, and the ability to communicate complex insights through compelling presentations. The candidate will work closely with the Finance, Sales, and Operations teams to provide actionable intelligence on portfolio health, credit performance, and business growth metrics.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end portfolio analysis tracking performance, delinquencies, collections, and risk metrics across the lending and finance book
- Generate actionable insights from financial and operational data to support key business decisions
- Build and maintain automated dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI / Looker) to monitor KPIs and portfolio trends
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and analytical frameworks using Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, Power Query)
- Design and deliver high-quality presentations and business reviews in PowerPoint for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams Finance, Sales, Credit, and Operations to gather data, identify business problems, and present data-driven recommendations
- Create event-based trigger notifications and alert mechanisms for portfolio risk signals
- Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modelling to support strategic planning
- Ensure data integrity and governance across financial reporting processes
Who Can Apply
- Graduate/Post-graduate in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field from a premier institute
- 2+ years of industry experience in portfolio analysis, financial analytics, or business analysis within a fintech, NBFC, or financial services environment
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel ù pivot tables, macros, Power Query, complex formulas, and financial modelling
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker (Lucas); ability to build interactive dashboards and reports
- Excellent PowerPoint skills ù ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready presentations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and a data-first mindset
- Experience with SQL or Python for data extraction and manipulation is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, work independently, and drive closures in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with strong communication skills and a passion for using data to solve real business problems
