Position: Area Executive - Food Service/Horeca Location: Noida Sales Reports to: Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager Job Summary: The Area Executive in FMCG sales is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing freezer units, developing and maintaining a strong distribution network, and enhancing brand visibility in the assigned territory. This role focuses on building relationships with distributors, retailers, and wholesalers while ensuring the proper placement, maintenance, and utilization of freezers for product storage and display.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Target Achievement: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory. Implement and monitor sales strategies to drive product penetration and increase market share, especially for products requiring cold storage. Freezer Management: Ensure the placement, installation, and maintenance of company-provided freezers in retail outlets. Monitor the performance and condition of freezers to ensure optimal temperature and functionality for product preservation. Coordinate with service teams to promptly address any technical issues with the freezers. Ensure that freezers are well-stocked with the appropriate products, displayed effectively, and positioned in high-visibility areas of the store. Distribution Network Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and wholesalers. Ensure proper distribution and availability of products in all sales channels. Monitor stock levels and product placement in stores, particularly in freezers and other cold-storage areas. Market Expansion: Identify and onboard new distributors/retailers to expand market coverage, with a focus on outlets that can accommodate freezers. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, competitor activities, and emerging trends in the frozen product segment. Sales Execution and Promotion: Plan and execute trade promotions, schemes, and offers to boost sales of frozen and refrigerated products. Work closely with the marketing team for effective in-store branding and freezer displays. Coordinate with the merchandising team to ensure optimal product presentation in both freezer and non-freezer retail outlets. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data, particularly for freezer-based products, identify trends, and adjust strategies to improve performance. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management, with specific insights on freezer placement and utilization. Team Management: Lead and train the sales team to ensure they are aligned with company goals and sales strategies. Monitor their performance and provide guidance and motivation as needed Skills and Qualifications: Education: Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Horeca/Food Service sales, preferably with exposure to handling freezer units or cold chain products. Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in using sales tracking software, MS Office. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
