Role: Area Operations- Deputy Manager

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of multiple cafe locations to ensure smooth service and compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like sales data, food cost percentage (COGS), wastage, and labor costs to improve profitability.
  • Staff Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, and mentor outlet staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and professional development.
  • Quality and Safety Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food quality standards, and hygiene protocols.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and managing stock levels.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Address customer complaints and feedback, implementing changes to improve the overall guest experience.
  • Support & Deputize: Support the Area Manager with day-to-day tasks and assume full responsibility for regional operations in their absence.
  • Marketing & Promotions: Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional activities and ensure in-store execution.

Key Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Cafe Manager, or Assistant Area Manager, ideally in a fast-paced cafe/QSR setting.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
  • Operational Excellence: Knowledge of food safety standards and operational management software.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial reports to drive profitability.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating with staff and vendors.
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel between multiple locations within a city, with flexible timings including weekends/holidays
