Security Strategy
- Develop efficiency & Operational capability of Site security team.
- Create a dynamic team to manage well defined security tasks.
- Ensure alignment of security operations in line with the global processes.
- Monitor the progress of the team members. (Monthly KPI for tracking)
- To ensure that his subordinates perform their duty in full spirit as per their duty chart and responsible for total Discipline, Turnout and conduct of all security personnel in the premises.
Security Operations
- Responsible for overall security at client site and ensure its smooth functioning.
- Implement regional security policy, standards and procedures.
- Monitor and respond to India security incidents.
- Provide security risk assessment and suggest mitigation measures.
- Conduct 1st level of security and fraud incidents investigations.
- Act as first line leader of security and primary contact for operational issues
- Fully accountable for performance of the security shift under his supervision, including: maintaining all tasks assigned, time tables, appearance and professionalism, shift roster.
- Document all issues, events and activities on the shift and deliver a report to line manager.
- Will be responsible for managing daily operations of the Security Department, plan and organizes all functions of the team including hiring of guard, sups, staff development through training, command of all shifts, design of post assignments, enforcement of security process and practices.
- To ensure key management and inventory management which has been entrusted to security department.
- Responsible to maintain all Security and Safety equipments in working condition at all times.
- To ensure that proper patrolling is done within the premises and appropriate documents are maintained.
- To manage day today escalation by client and subordinates timely.
- To conduct training for the Security personnel as per the training program and document it.
- To be able to carry out the Site Risk Assessment from time to time and submit a comprehensive report to client
- To be able to carry out detailed investigations for any incident and to submit report and recommend change in process/security protocols.
- To be available to back-fill any position required for SOC Operations.
Audit and Governance
- Ensure security policies and trainings are in place.
- Ensure adequate data for evidencing for conformance tests.
- Monthly KPI score monitoring and reporting aberrations (if any)
- To maintain all the security documents and registers as per Audit standard.
Stakeholder & People Management
- Ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- Provide updates as per criticality of issues.
- Maintain relations with the external stakeholders for quicker response in crisis.
Liaison
- Establish good rapport with law enforcement agencies
- Maintain relations with industry associations and security professionals
