Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of steel structures supporting Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers and Skid-Mounted Systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience with industrial structures, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design and analysis of ACHE structures, Skids, Pipe Racks, and Equipment Supports
- Perform advanced load calculations including Wind, Seismic, Thermal, Transportation, and Erection loads
- Develop and review GA drawings, Fabrication Drawings, and Structural Reports
- Conduct structural analysis using STAAD Pro / Tekla / RAM Connection / Similar tools
- Ensure compliance with IS codes, AISC, ASCE, and Project-specific standards
- Coordinate closely with Mechanical, Piping, and Fabrication teams
- Review and approve vendor drawings and third-party designs
- Provide technical support during Fabrication, Assembly, and Site Installation
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions
- Optimize designs for Safety, Sost-effectiveness, and Manufacturability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in Industrial structural design
- Proven experience in Skid structures, Equipment supports, or Heat exchanger structures
- Strong expertise in Steel structure design and analysis
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro / Tekla / AutoCAD / Navisworks / RAM Connection
- Good understanding of Fabrication practices and Material behaviour.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in oil & gas or process industry projects
- Familiarity with international codes (AISC, ASCE, API, Eurocode, etc.)
- Experience handling client interactions and design approvals
- Masters degree in Structural Engineering (optional)
