- Puppets Picture Education Trust (Karuna Media) is seeking an experienced and passionate Fund Raiser to lead resource mobilisation for our skilling and livelihood programs that empower underprivileged young women through free, world-class media education.
- The Fund Raiser will drive the organisation''s fundraising strategy by identifying, cultivating, and securing funding from CSR partners, corporate foundations, HNIs, philanthropic institutions, bilateral/multilateral agencies, and government schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- (1) Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan focused on skilling, employability, and livelihood grants;
- (2) Research and build a robust pipeline of CSR donors under Section 135 aligned with education, skilling, and women empowerment mandates;
- (3) Write compelling concept notes, proposals, budgets, LOIs, and impact/donor reports tailored to each funder;
- (4) Build and nurture long-term relationships with CSR heads, foundation program officers, and HNIs;
- (5) Represent the organisation at CSR conclaves, networking forums, and donor meetings;
- (6) Coordinate with programs and finance teams to ensure donor compliance, timely reporting, and utilisation certificates;
- (7) Track fundraising KPIs, maintain donor CRM, and provide regular updates to leadership.
Required:
- Minimum 4 years of demonstrable experience raising funds specifically in the skilling and livelihood sector, with a proven track record of closing large CSR grants and building sustainable donor pipelines.
- Strong understanding of the Indian CSR ecosystem, skilling frameworks (NSDC, PMKVY, DDU-GKY), and donor compliance requirements is essential.
- The position carries a probation period of 2 (two) months from the date of joining.
- During this probation period, the Fund Raiser is expected to demonstrate their fundraising capability by successfully raising a minimum of
- 5,00,000 (Rupees Five Lakhs only) in confirmed grants or committed funding for the organisation''s skilling and livelihood programs.
- Confirmation of employment beyond the probation period will be subject to the successful achievement of this minimum fundraising milestone, along with an overall performance review.
- Failure to meet this benchmark may result in extension of the probation period or discontinuation of employment at the sole discretion of the management
