Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and OPD coordination efficiently.
- Assist patients with consultation processes, billing guidance, and service-related queries.
- Ensure smooth patient flow and minimize waiting time in the OPD area.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, diagnostics, and other departments for timely patient care.
- Handle patient feedback, concerns, and escalations professionally.
- Maintain accurate patient records, appointment data, and daily OPD reports.
- Support walk-in patients with registration, documentation, and navigation within the facility.
- Ensure proper queue management and coordination during high patient volume.
- Verify patient details, insurance information, and relevant documentation when required.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and patient service standards within the OPD area.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, patient confidentiality, and service protocols.
- Support departmental initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; preference for Hospital Administration or Healthcare Management
background.
- 14 years of relevant experience in OPD operations, front office, patient relations, or healthcare
coordination.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of hospital information systems (HIS) and patient registration processes preferred.
- Strong coordination, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-service oriented with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage patient interactions effectively.
