Job Summary
The Centre Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management and smooth functioning of the Livelihood Training Centre. The role focuses on delivering high-quality training under the General Duty Assistant (GDA) Elder Care Programme, ensuring effective mobilization, training, and placement of youth in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the training centre, ensuring a professional and
disciplined environment.
Manage centre infrastructure, inventory, asset registers, and procurement of training materials and medical supplies.
Maintain attendance records for staff and trainees.
Handle petty cash, logistics, and monthly operational reporting.
Ensure proper scheduling and timely completion of training batches.
Monitor classroom and practical sessions to maintain healthcare training standards.
Ensure proper implementation of programme SOPs and guidelines.
Supervise and guide centre staff and mobilization teams to achieve programme targets.
Support community mobilization and ensure enrolment of eligible candidates.
Conduct community needs assessments and outreach activities.
Identify risks related to student dropouts and implement retention strategies.
Collaborate with the Senior Project Coordinator for programme improvements and
updates.
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and home-care agencies.
Conduct market mapping to identify employment opportunities.
Understand employer requirements and align candidate profiles accordingly.
Organize job fairs, placement drives, and campus interviews.
Strengthen employer partnerships for repeat hiring and long-term collaboration
Provide end-to-end placement support to trainees.
Conduct mock interviews and job-readiness sessions.
Ensure post-placement follow-up and candidate retention.
Guide mobilization teams in identifying and enrolling eligible youth.
Build linkages with colleges, institutions, and community networks.
Plan and execute awareness campaigns and mobilization drives.
Conduct counselling sessions to assess candidate interests and career goals.
Provide guidance on healthcare career pathways.
Support onboarding, registration, and training orientation.
Motivate and mentor trainees throughout the programme lifecycle.
Maintain accurate records of mobilization, training, and placement data.
Prepare and submit monthly reports and MIS data.
Analyse data to improve programme performance and outcomes.
Desired Competencies
Strong communication skills (Hindi and Basic English).
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic MIS tools.

Qualifications Experience
Graduate (Mandatory)
Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, home care, or related field
Experience in hospital visits, employer engagement, or institutional tie-ups
Exposure to placement coordination or recruitment preferred
Basic understanding of healthcare services and practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare training institutes or home healthcare organizations
Knowledge of GDA/Elder Care roles and basic clinical practices
Experience in employer engagement and placement coordination
