We are searching for a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join a highly agile/scrum development team to develop our next-generation data analytics applications. This is a senior technical role and the successful candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of developing enterprise-grade web front-end using technologies such as Power BI Desktop, Power Bi service, Power bi gateways, DAX Power query, power view, power pivot
Requirements:- Proficiency in Data Modelling and Dimensional Analysis. Effective liaison between Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance, Systems Support and Customers/Users with a reputation for timely resolution of issues and a drive for business results.
- Experience performing Data cleanse and Data Quality control activities.
- Experience in communicating with stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and end-users to better understand, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements.
- Experience working with Query Editor to connect to different data sources and working on Data models.
- Experience creating new Calculated Tables, Calculated Columns and Measures.
- Experience in developing custom reports, and different types of Tabular Reports, Matrix Reports, Ad-hoc Reports, Drilldown, Parameterized, Cascading, Conditional, Table, Matrix, Chart, and Sub Reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Ability to create relationships between different tables from different data sources.
- Experience working with Power BI Service for creating Dashboards and sharing them to business users.
- worked with DAX formulae for creating variables like Previous Month, Previous Quarter, etc. and creating interactive visuals using geographic data.
- Creating powerful calculations, key metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Power BI development and administration.
- Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
- Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
- Building Analysis Services reporting models.
- DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
- Design methodology and project documentation creation
- Developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI report per business requirements.
- Properly understand business requirements and develop data models accordingly.
- Creating advanced-level calculations to provide prescriptive and predictive analysis.
- Develop automated operational reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools (including Power Bi report builder and SQL reporting services)
- Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.
