Shift: Night Shift (07:30PM IST 04:30AM IST)

Location: Noida Sector 68 ONSITE

Position Summary: Acro Service Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused HR Specialist to support its North American Corporate Human Resources team. This is a full-time, direct-hire, in-office position that will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer. The HR Specialist will primarily support unemployment claims administration, employment verification requests, and Work Opportunity Tax Credit reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to gather and review information accurately to support timely and compliant HR processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The US HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting a variety of HR functions, including but not limited to:
    • Support unemployment claims administration, including gathering relevant facts, documentation, and employment history information.
    • Review employee records, separation details, disciplinary documentation, attendance records, and other related materials to assist with unemployment responses.
    • Prepare timely and accurate responses to unemployment claim requests and related inquiries.
    • Participate as the company representative in unemployment telephone hearings as needed.
    • Work with internal HR team members, managers, and other stakeholders to collect information needed for claims, hearings, and responses.
    • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records related to unemployment claims and proceedings.
    • Respond to requests for Verification of Employment in accordance with company procedures and confidentiality requirements.
    • Track and report on Verification of Employment activity as needed.
    • Support Work Opportunity Tax Credit reporting by working with the company's vendor to review reports, monitor activity, and assist with follow-up as appropriate.
    • Review vendor-provided WOTC reports for accuracy, completeness, and trends.
    • Assist with HR data entry, tracking, reporting, and administrative support.
    • Provide responsive service with a sense of urgency while managing matters that may have deadlines or timing constraints.
    • Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
    • Perform all other HR-related tasks as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to gather, review, organize, and summarize facts and documentation.
    • Ability to provide responsive service with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and professionalism.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, vendors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
    • Strong listening skills with the ability to understand requests, ask appropriate questions, and convey information clearly.
    • Ability to represent the company professionally in unemployment telephone hearings.
    • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
    • Strong organizational, follow-up, and recordkeeping skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work with time-sensitive information.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Ability to work independently while remaining connected and responsive to the HR team. Work Environment
