Job Description

1. HR Operations

  • Manage employee onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit processes.
    • Ensure accurate employee documentation and maintain HR records.
    • Handle attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.
    • Coordinate full & final settlements and employee lifecycle activities.

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Execute blue-collar and white-collar hiring as per approved manpower plans.
    • Coordinate with recruitment teams, consultants, and manpower vendors.
    • Ensure timely fulfilment of manpower requirements.
    • Monitor vacancy status and hiring turnaround time.

3. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations

  • Build healthy employee relations across all levels.
    • Address employee grievances and resolve workplace issues.
    • Coordinate with contract labour and manpower contractors.
    • Support union interactions and maintain industrial harmony.
    • Handle disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and misconduct cases in line with company policies.

4. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws including:
    • CLRA Act
      • Factories Act
      • Shops & Establishments Act (where applicable)
      • Minimum Wages Act
      • Payment of Wages Act
      • EPF & ESI
      • Bonus Act
      • Gratuity Act
      • POSH Act
  • Coordinate statutory inspections and maintain statutory registers and records.

5. Payroll & Benefits

  • Validate attendance and payroll inputs.
    • Ensure timely processing of incentives, overtime, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
    • Resolve employee payroll and benefits-related queries.

6. Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Drive the Performance Management System (PMS).
    • Support goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
    • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development initiatives.
    • Support succession planning and employee development.

7. Employee Engagement

  • Plan and execute engagement activities, recognition programs, town halls, and cultural events.
    • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement action plans.
    • Promote company values and a positive work culture.

8. HR MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.
    • Track manpower, attrition, absenteeism, recruitment, overtime, and productivity metrics.
    • Maintain HR dashboards and management reports.

9. Business Partnering

  • Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, and Finance teams.
    • Advise business leaders on HR policies and people-related matters.
    • Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or MSW.
    • 512 years of HR experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, or Industrial Operations.
    • Strong knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll, industrial relations, and HR operations.
    • Experience with HRMS (e.g., Darwinbox,).
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
