Job Description
As a Hardware Validation Engineer, you will be part of the hardware team responsible for testing and validating electronic boards and products.
Responsibilities:
- Perform hardware board bring-up and functional testing.
- Execute validation tests using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Identify and report hardware issues during testing.
- Assist with PCB rework and soldering when required.
- Read basic schematics and PCB layouts.
- Work with the hardware team to debug and resolve issues.
- Maintain test reports and follow quality and ESD guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electronics and hardware testing.
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Basic understanding of PCB schematics and PCB layouts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hardware lab environment.
- Knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe, or UFS is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible.
