Relevant Experience Required
- Proven experience in architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms and cloud-native data ecosystems.
- Extensive experience defining enterprise data architecture, data strategy, and target-state modernization roadmaps.
- Strong expertise in designing Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Lakehouse architectures on Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Data Sharing, Secure Data Sharing, and Snowpark.
- Experience leading large-scale data migration and modernization programs from legacy/on-premises platforms to Snowflake.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, data vault, and enterprise data management frameworks.
- Experience architecting real-time and batch data integration solutions using ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with DBT and modern data stack technologies for transformation and governance.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architecture principles.
- Experience establishing enterprise-wide security, governance, compliance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
- Proven ability to engage with executive stakeholders, business leaders, enterprise architects, and data engineering teams.
- Experience defining architecture standards, best practices, reusable frameworks, and operating models.
- Strong leadership background in mentoring architects and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise Snowflake architecture strategy and roadmap.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Data Lakehouse and Data Warehouse platforms.
- Lead architecture decisions for data modernization, migration, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.
- Establish enterprise-wide architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
- Design secure data-sharing models, access controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Provide architectural leadership for Snowflake implementations across business units.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, platform teams, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews, solution assessments, and technical design workshops.
- Drive performance optimization, workload management, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Guide engineering teams on Snowflake best practices, design patterns, and implementation strategies.
- Define DevOps/DataOps frameworks and deployment standards for Snowflake platforms.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to drive innovation.
- Ensure adherence to security, governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams.
- Create architecture documentation, reference patterns, standards, and reusable assets for enterprise adoption.
