Job Description
Job Title: Java Solution Architect
Key Responsibilities:
- Define endtoend solution architecture for applications based on microservices architecture
- Design and review Spring Bootbased RESTful APIs and service interactions
- Establish architectural patterns for resilience, scalability, security, and performance
- Guide teams on service decomposition, domain boundaries, and integration patterns
- Define API standards, error handling, versioning, and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)
- Design and govern API management strategies using Apigee (API Gateway, policies, security, and traffic management)
- Oversee nonfunctional requirements including availability, latency, and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployments
- Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and mentoring to development teams
Skill Requirements:
- Strong experience designing microservices using Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, synchronous and asynchronous communication
- Experience with cloudnative architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms like AWS TSB)
- Knowledge of resilience patterns (retry, circuit breaker, bulkhead, caching)
- Familiarity with API Gateway, BFF patterns, and service orchestration
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and perservice data ownership
- Understanding of security concepts (OAuth2, JWT, TLS)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Exposure to observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing)
Good to have skills:
- Experience with eventdriven architectures (Kafka, messaging)
- Prior experience in largescale or enterprise digital transformation program
