- Expertise in VCS / VxVM, RedHat Cluster OR SuSE Cluster
- Certified Linux Redhat Administrtor
- Working knowledge of standard Linux backup and recovery tools
- Working knowledge of standard Linux security Methodologies, hardening procedures, and best practices
Job Summary
- :
- Plan and conduct installations, transitions, upgrades of Linux running in a VMWARE environment
- Analyze server and storage characteristics (e.g., CPU behavior, latency, transmission speeds, packet loss and throughput), triage and troubleshoot problems.
- Excellent communication & documentation skills, both in technical and non-technical arenas
- Strong troubleshooting skills on core ESXi features, Shielded VM Management, Virtual workload provisioning
- Working experience on Creating VMs, templates on Hyper-V
- Knowledge and understanding of the Filesystem, LVM, PV and different process
