Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) Provide L3-level support for hypervisor-related issues and incidents Design, implement, and optimize virtual infrastructure solutions Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and availability Handle upgrades, patching, and security hardening of VMware platforms Troubleshoot complex virtualization, storage, and network issues Work closely with teams to support DR, HA, and backup solutions Prepare documentation, SOPs, and technical reports
Required Skills & Experience
1016 years of experience in virtualization and infrastructure support Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Good knowledge of hypervisors, virtual networking, and storage Experience with HA, DRS, vMotion, and backup integrations Exposure to troubleshooting performance and capacity issues VMware certifications (VCP/VCAP) preferred
