Job Requirements
* Generally, 5+ to 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3-5 years specifically in cloud architecture (GCP/OCI/AWS) and migration projects In-depth knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery) and OCI services (Compute, Exadata Cloud Service, Autonomous Database) Strong understanding of legacy infrastructure, including VMware, networking, and storage Proficient in IaC (Terraform), DevOps CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), and monitoring systems (Stackdriver, Prometheus) Knowledge of VPC, Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect, VPN, and DN
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive cloud strategies, including hybrid and multi-cloud adoption plans. Designing high-availability, fault-tolerant infrastructures using GCP and OCI services Leading the migration of on-premise applications, databases, and data centers to GCP/OCI with minimal downtime Implementing security best practices (IAM, encryption, network segmentation) and ensuring compliance with industry standards like GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO. Monitoring and optimizing cloud spending using tools like GCP Billing or OCI Cost Management to ensure cost-efficiency. Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate deployment and management. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of cloud environments (compute, storage, network) and managing containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE/OKE)
