Job Requirements
* Must Have : Strong knowledge of Apache Cassandra and related tools (including DataStax products). Proficiencyin Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and SQL. Experience with automation tools and scripting for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Cluster Management:Configure,maintain, andmonitorCassandra clusters to ensure high availability and reliability. Performance Optimization:Analyze data access patterns,identifybottlenecks, and tune clusters foroptimalperformance and scalability. Data Modeling & Query Design:Collaborate with developers to design efficient data models and queries. Security & Backups:Implement security measures, manage access controls, encryption, replication, backup, and recovery strategies. Capacity Planning:Forecast storage and computing requirements based on growth and project goals. Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly. Automation:Automate routine tasks such as cluster provisioning and monitoring using scripting and automation tools.
