Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all electrical activities at the project site.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve queries and clarify scope during erection and commissioning activities. Follow up with vendors to ensure timely supply of materials and spares in line with site requirements. Collaborate with vendors and the design team to address site requirements; review engineering deliverables and vendor documents. Review detailed engineering diagrams, datasheets, installation drawings, cable schedules, cable tray layouts, logic diagrams, and control room layouts. Verify and certify bills related to electrical activities. Inspect and approve electrical equipment, systems, and accessories. Recommend and implement design modifications as required to suit site conditions. Cross-check all equipment and accessories to ensure compliance with approvals and project specifications. Conduct quality checks on incoming materials; supervise site works including troubleshooting of field instruments, electrical installation, and commissioning. Manage installation and commissioning of field instruments and equipment such as transformers, substation panels, switches, pumps, motors, and lighting systems. Conduct cable and piping routing surveys, finalize equipment and instrument locations, and provide inputs for complete design engineering.
Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Hands-on experience in electrical site execution, erection, and commissioning activities. Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, instrumentation, and systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documents. Good communication and coordination skills with stakeholders (clients, vendors, contractors).
