1. Shift Operations Management
- Manage and monitor all warehouse activities during the shift.
- Ensure smooth inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound operations.
- Allocate manpower and equipment effectively to achieve daily targets.
- Conduct shift handovers and communicate operational priorities.
- Prepare Documents related to dispatch & inward ( Export & Domestic)
2. Inventory Control
- Ensure inventory accuracy through proper stock handling and system transactions.
- Monitor stock movements and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory verification.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance where applicable.
3. Team Supervision
- Lead warehouse associates, forklift operators, and contract manpower.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and performance.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and team briefings.
- Train employees on SOPs, safety requirements, and operational practices.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce warehouse safety standards and company policies.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and material handling equipment.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Maintain compliance with 5S, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
5. Dispatch & Customer Service
- Ensure timely dispatch of orders as per schedule.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners.
- Resolve operational issues affecting delivery performance.
- Maintain dispatch documentation and records.
6. Performance Monitoring
- Track shift KPIs such as:
- Order fulfillment rate
- Inventory accuracy
- Productivity
- Vehicle turnaround time
- On-time dispatch
- Safety compliance
- Prepare and submit shift reports to management.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support cost reduction and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Participate in Kaizen, Lean, and operational excellence programs.
