Role Summary
Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
Key Responsibilities
- 5 - 10 years of experience in developing C/C++ for Embedded Processor systems including architecture, design, coding, testing and support.
- Extensive experiences in Multi-threaded and multi-processor system development with high-performance low-latency embedded development on X86_64 processors.
- Proficiency in Intel DPDK, VPP and must have hands-on industry experience.
- Proficiency in Unix shell scripting as well as higher level scripting languages (Python).
- Proficiency operating in Linux-based Operating Systems such as CENTOS, RHEL etc.
- Proficiency with embedded multi-core processors with real time, embedded, multithreaded applications.
- Knowledge of x86_64 processor architecture and techniques to profile / improve performance on x86_64 systems.
- Knowledge on Virtualization and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Kubernetes(K8s) container orchestration system.
- Proficiency in IKEv2 (Internet Key Exchange version 2), IPsec (ESP : Encapsulating Security Payload) encryption protocol and EAP-AKA authentication.
- Experience in Telecom domain especially wireless telecommunications is highly required.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of SR-IOV networking and high-performance interfaces, such as PCI-Express, Intel E810 NIC, Intel x710 NIC, MLX NIC, vmxnet3 NIC etc.
- Knowledge of Bitbucket, git and Jira etc.
- Hands-on experience of using VS Code IDE having GH Copilot plugin, M365 Copilot knowledge and Prompt Engineering.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
