Role Purpose
This is a hands-on, customer-facing field rolenot a desk-only job. The Resident Energy Engineer will support the Energy Business team by conducting industrial site visits, collecting electrical and energy data, assisting with energy audits, and identifying opportunities for BESS, solar, and energy-optimization solutions.The role will build a strong foundation in industrial electrical systems, energy audits, distributed
energy infrastructure, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct customer and factory-site visits within the assigned territory.
- Assist in preliminary site surveys and industrial energy audits.
- Collect and organize electricity bills, load details, DG-set information, solar details, and
customer operating data.
- Understand basic customer electrical infrastructure, load profile, peak demand, and
energy-consumption patterns.
- Support the preparation of site-survey reports, visit reports, opportunity scorecards, and
customer data sheets.
- Coordinate with business-development, pre-sales, engineering, and technical teams for
qualified opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM updates and daily/weekly field-activity reports.
- Support customer meetings, technical discussions, demonstrations, and follow-ups as
required.
- Follow all site-safety, reporting, and professional conduct requirements.
- Travel extensively across industrial areas within the assigned location.
- Candidates with a strong interest in renewable energy, BESS, solar, industrial electrical systems, and field engineering are preferred.
Mandatory Requirements
- Marathi speaking is compulsory.
- Must be willing to work in a full-time on-site/field role.
- Must own a bike/two-wheeler (compulsory)
- Must hold a valid two-wheeler driving licence.
- Must have a personal laptop (compulsory)
- Must have an Android smartphone (compulsory)
- Must be willing to travel regularly within the assigned industrial territory.
- Must be resident in, or willing to relocate near, Vasai, Nashik, or Kolhapur. Future requirements will be in Pune and Mumbai.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Google Maps, WhatsApp, and email is required.
Training and Career Growth
Selected candidates will receive structured technical and field training on industrial electricity
bills, load analysis, DG-set economics, BESS applications, solar integration, site-survey
methodology, energy-audit practices, CRM discipline, customer interaction, and industrial safety.
