- The Research Assistant will contribute to research projects, policy analyses, and public discourse at the intersection of technology, economics, and public policy.
- They will work closely with other team members to develop evidence-based policy recommendations across Esyas themes: competition, emerging technologies, digital markets, internet governance, and IPR & innovation.
- This is a hybrid role based in New Delhi (minimum 2 days/week in-office).
- Conduct economic research and analysis, especially in digital markets, trade, investment, and competition policy.
- Contribute to research papers, policy briefs, and reports.
- Engage with stakeholders and partners to share insights and build collaborations.
- Help organize public events, workshops, and roundtable discussions.
- Provide administrative and logistical support as needed for the Centres functioning.
- Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in R, Stata, or Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex economic ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with digital technologies and Indias regulatory landscape is a plus
