Insuritys Next Lead Business Analyst - Commercial Insurance
You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery and quality of Insurity?s U.S. commercial insurance software solutions. As a Lead Business Analyst, your primary focus will be to support the Circ Commercial Property team. You will connect business needs with technology, gather and analyze requirements, and facilitate communication to ensure alignment and clarity of software implementations. This role involves providing deep expertise in U.S. Commercial Property Insurance to support translating business rules into technical requirements. This role requires a strong commitment to continuous development of both technical knowledge and business acumen, with a focus on U.S. commercial insurance processing and regulatory compliance.
What Out Lead Business Analyst Will Do
- Lead requirements gathering process for ordinary and complex efforts.
- Lead end-to-end integration projects partnering with bureaus, customers, and internal teams.
- Develop, analyze, and document requirements (based on Verisk, AAIS or NCCI circulars), including business and functional
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and clarify business and functional requirements for U.S. commercial insurance solutions
- Support automation and quality improvements.
- Analyze current processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities aligned with project goals.
- Provide clear and concise documentation with business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Communicate project risks, concerns, and quality metrics to leadership and team members.
- Exhibit strong time management and organizational skills by managing multiple priorities.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
Who We Are Looking For
- Recommended: 8+ Years of experience as a Business Analyst. (Verisk, AAIS or NCCI commercial insurance preferred)
- Ability to work U.S. Based hours (full-time ET Time Zone preferred)
- Recommended: Bachelor?s degree in business, IT, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. Commercial Insurance domain; Specifically, Property Lines of Business
- Experience engaging with technical and business stakeholders in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
- Proficiency with requirements gathering
- Ability to effectively translate complex insurance requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and evolving environment
- Familiarity with Policy Administration Systems preferred
