Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing drone bodies, enclosures, and docking station structures
- Create concept sketches, 3D models, and product renderings
- Support CAD modelling and design documentation
- Collaborate with engineers to refine designs for manufacturability
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and design iterations
- Support material selection, finishes, and structural considerations
- Maintain consistency in product aesthetics and branding language
- Contribute ideas during product brainstorming and review sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design / Product Design / Mechanical Design or related field
- 0-2 years of experience (Freshers with strong portfolio are encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools (SolidWorks / Fusion 360 / Rhino / Creo)
- Knowledge of design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite, or similar)
- Understanding of form development, ergonomics, and product aesthetics
- Familiarity with materials such as plastics, metals, and composites
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
- Strong sketching, visualization, and problem-solving skills
- Portfolio showcasing academic, internship, or personal projects
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced hardware environment
