Education: Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Hotel Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
Role & responsibilities
- Training Needs Analysis: Conduct regular assessments across departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping) to identify gaps in guest service, compliance, and technical skills.
- Onboarding & Orientation: Develop and execute comprehensive induction programs to familiarize new hires with brand values, culture, and service standards.
- Leadership Development: Train and mentor department heads, supervisors, and high-potential staff in management skills and service recovery.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all staff are trained in health, hygiene, and emergency protocols in accordance with local hospitality regulations.
- Budget Management: Develop and oversee the annual hotel training budget, including tracking costs for materials, external trainers, and certifications.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through guest feedback, employee assessments, and on-the-job observations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: Minimum 35 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or L&D management, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Education: Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Hotel Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of hotel operations, PMS (Property Management Systems), and guest service standards.
- Soft Skills: Excellent public speaking, conflict resolution, and cross-cultural communication abilities
