We are seeking a skilled Automation/ Manual Tester proficient in Selenium with Java to join our dynamic team. As an Automation Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software products by developing and executing automated test scripts, identifying defects, and contributing to the overall improvement of our testing processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in testing both mobile and web-based applications, with a strong background in writing test scripts and codes from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation test scripts for mobile applications and web-based applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and develop test strategies.
- Execute test scripts, analyze test results, and report defects, anomalies, and issues.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test data setup.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation to achieve maximum test coverage.
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and compatibility testing as required.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and improvements in the software.
- Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and techniques related to automation testing.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in mobile application testing and web-based application testing.
- Proficiency in writing test scripts and codes from scratch.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with test management tools and version control systems.
- Solid understanding of web technologies and experience testing web applications.
- Experience with continuous integration and building tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a bonus.
Work Schedule: 5 days a week [ Monday to Friday]
