Job Description & Summary
The PDM Architect will play a key role in advancing the PwC Delivery Methodology (PDM) across platforms, ensuring alignment with Delivery Excellence (DE) initiatives. This role supports both the development and adoption of PDM by working across functions, facilitating practice-specific content alignment, and supporting engagement teams with the use of delivery tools within our ecosystem.
The individual in this role will act as a liaison between Platform/Practice teams and DE leadership, ensuring that PDM methodologies, assets, and processes are effectively integrated into engagements.
Key Responsibilities
PDM Adoption & Scoping
- Support engagement pursuits using the PDM scoping tool and creating engagement Concourse workspaces in order to develop the client Statement of Work.
- Work with Solution Studio Solution Architects to train and upskill territory resources to independently scope engagements as adoption scales.
- Provide early adopter engagement support for practice areas by ensuring teams have access to relevant PDM content and assets.
- Serve as a point of contact for:
- Tips and Tricks on PDM adoption
- Connections to key assets
- Practice-specific delivery methodology guidance
- Engagement identification, execution and feedback
- Collect feedback from engagements to drive enhancements to Concourse functionality, DE technology / tools, PDM content, and assets.
- Work with the product / tech team to drive enhancements coming from adoption feedback.
- Engage with Comms/Training team to ensure feedback gets incorporated appropriately as well as ensure appropriate messaging from Comms/Training team gets disseminated to practices.
Practice Area PDM Alignment
- Facilitate business communications based on agreed changes from the PDM Change Approval Board.
- Work with global practice leadership and engagement teams to identify, scope, and prioritize opportunities for continued innovation of PDM.
- Drive content and asset alignment roadmap to meet milestone dates.
- Coordinate with PDM core team Global PDM Drivers to manage updates to PDM/Concourse.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in alignment discussions for practices and platforms.
- Support content team with global content/asset alignment sessions.
- Oversee sub-workstream timelines/milestones, track completion, and escalate risks/issues as appropriate.
- Lead the refactoring of Delivery Maps into the PwC Delivery Methodology and support pilots for the Concourse Platform.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience
- Excellent communication & documentation skills (PowerPoint, Miro, Excel).
- Strong program management experience including planning, portfolio management, status reporting, and risk/issue management.
- Project delivery expertise and experience leading delivery teams.
- Ability to work in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
- Business change management & stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with pursuits, RFP / proposal work and Orals.
- Experience working with cross functional teams.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Product Development Lifecycle and functional knowledge of technology and how it is implemented.
