- API development in Java - Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Application development using AWS services EKS/ECS, S3, SQS/SNS, Elastic Cache/Redis
- Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins CI/CD Pipeline
- MySQL and Postgres database
- Experience with logging, Monitoring tools, observability
- Apigee API Gateway
- Experience with rules engines - preferably Drools(Optional)
Skills Required:
- Strong ability to understand existing codebasesand domain knowledgeto some extent.
- Capability to analyze and integratethe new systems various interfaces with the existing APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, AWS, and APIGEE.
- Familiarity with Droolsis an added advantage.
- Ability to write and maintain JIRA stories (10-15% of the time)and keeping existing technical specificationsupdated would be required.
- Should take end-to-end ownershipof the project and work independently on iterative tasks.
- Should proactively identify and highlight risksduring daily scrum calls and provide regular updates.
- While the technical requirements are fairly standard, the client is particularly looking for strong ownership and accountabilityin delivering this project, given its evolving nature.
