Job Description
Qualifications / Required Skills and Experience:
A BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
- 6 - 9 years of software development experience with a focus on IDE/platform development, as well as strong exposure to API development.
- 3 - 4 years of C#.NET experience building Windows Desktop Applications: WPF/ WinForms is mandatory.
- Fluent in the.NET tech stack (C#,.NET STD, NET Core,.NET Framework): 3- 4 years of experience in developing applications in.NET Core, Libraries in.NET Standard,.NET Framework and converting legacy applications and libraries developed on.NET Framework to.NET Core and.NET Standard respectively.
- Experience with an agile software development model.
- Strong technical/engineering background with the ability to analyze and solve difficult business problems in a complex domain.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills especially for.NET Applications.
- Experience in SQL and C++ programming is highly desirable.
- Experience developing and deploying cross platform applications using.NET Core,.NETStandard that can run both on Windows as well as Linux OS is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps using Git or TFVC.
- Experience working with distributed / remote development and test resources to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software releases is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate the problem and solution space to different kinds of audiences.
- Highly motivated self-starter with an innovative thinking bias
- Prior experience with Wonderware System Platform / InTouch is desirable.
- Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
- Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.
