EXPERIENCE IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY IS A MANDATE
This role is part of the People function and would be responsible for implementation of the Rewards strategy within the company including, but not limited to, Job Evaluation & Architecture, Sales Incentive Plans, Executive Compensation & LTI (ESOPs), workforce analytics, and guidance to the HR and business teams. The candidate will provide support in developing programs based on long and short-term compensation strategy of the business and partner with management to drive business value.
This role combines deep expertise in compensation and rewards with strong analytical capabilities to drive evidence-based people decisions across multiple geographies. We have a highly collaborative team environment, and candidates must possess a demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, and governance of global compensation and rewards programs, in compliance with the relevant local legislations.
- Develop and maintain compensation frameworks, job architecture, grading structures, and career progression models.
- Act as the subject matter expert on executive compensation, sales incentive plans, retention programs, and equity-based rewards (specifically ESOPs).
- Drive pay equity assessments and compensation governance initiatives to ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance across the organization.
- Develop executive-level dashboards and analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, rewards effectiveness, productivity, attrition, and talent risks.
- Support organizational transformation, acquisitions, integration activities, and strategic talent initiatives through rewards and workforce analytics expertise.
- Design short-term and long-term incentive programs to reinforce desired business outcomes.
- Champion the company's global compensation philosophy and partner across Human Resources and the business to ensure compensation programs are designed and delivered in alignment with global compensation, total rewards, and HR objectives.
- Lead the benefits framework globally, working with regional HR leads across countries
Key Capabilities and Competencies
- Strong business and financial acumen, demonstrated project management skills, outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using compensation and HRIS systems (preferably Workday) to analyze data and generate reports.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and implement strategic improvements to compensation, benefits, and rewards programs through data-driven insights and market intelligence.
- Experience working with multiple geographies and compensation regulations.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with senior leadership teams.
Qualification, Skills and Experience
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CCP, GRP, Mercer, Aon, WorldatWork, or equivalent preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Global Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Executive Compensation, HR Analytics, or Workforce Strategy, including experience managing programs across multiple geographies.
- Proven experience leading global rewards program, across multiple geographies.
- Experience in job architecture, market pricing, pay equity analysis, incentive plans, and rewards governance frameworks
- Advanced spreadsheet, strong presentation skills and working knowledge of AI tools and platforms
- Workforce analytics and predictive modelling, including pay equity analysis and compensation cost modeling
