JD:
- 12+ years of overall QA / testing experience, with at least 5+ years in a Test Manager / Technical QA Leadership role driving test strategy and automation-led quality initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading hybrid test teams (manual, automation, and in-sprint testing), including mentoring engineers, setting technical standards, and enforcing best practices.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, advanced test design techniques, and defect lifecycle management, with a strong focus on risk-based testing and coverage optimization.
- Strong hands-on technical expertise in test automation, including designing, reviewing, and optimizing automation frameworks using tools and technologies such as Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Tosca, RestAssured, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in testing across Web UI, API, and Mobile channels, including integration and end-to-end testing in complex, distributed architectures.
- Expertise in non-functional testing practices (e.g., performance, reliability, and security test integration) and aligning them with overall test strategy is highly desirable.
- Solid experience in test environment and test data management, including coordination of shared environments, environment readiness, test data strategy (masking, synthetic data), and alignment with CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on involvement with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including integrating automated tests into build pipelines, enabling shift-left testing, and collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams.
- Strong project and delivery management skills, with the ability to define test plans, estimates, resource allocation, and track quality metrics across multiple releases/projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities, able to influence technical decisions, align testing strategy with business outcomes, and manage expectations with product, development, and business teams.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret quality metrics, derive insights, present recommendations to senior leadership, and drive data-informed decision-making.
