Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience in building scalable automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through automated UI and API testing while collaborating closely with development and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for web and API applications
- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable automation scripts
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results
- Perform API testing to validate backend services, data integrity, and integrations
- Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with developers for resolution
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous test improvement
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, and smoke testing
Required Skills (Core)
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python
- Hands-on experience with Selenium automation frameworks and Playwright
- Solid experience in API Testing (RESTful services, request/response validation)
- Good understanding of automation best practices, design patterns, and test strategies
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
