Job Summary
The Executive / Senior Executive- Firm Compliance will provide critical operational support, coordination, and execution management for ongoing Privacy, Compliance, AI Governance, Third-Party Risk, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) initiatives. This role is designed to streamline day-to-day governance activities, accelerate tracking and documentation, and manage multi-stakeholder follow-ups. The ideal candidate will bridge tactical execution and compliance framework maintenance, ensuring robust risk management and audit readiness across organization-wide governance programs.
Key Responsibilities
Third-Party & Vendor Risk Governance (UpGuard) Support the post-implementation maintenance and daily operations of the UpGuard vendor risk platform. Proactively follow up with internal business units and external vendors to collect necessary risk assessments and questionnaire responses. Maintain vendor risk compliance trackers and ensure regular documentation of remediation actions. Coordinate internal stakeholders to flag delays or outstanding vendor reviews. Privacy & DPDPA Implementation Monitor, track, and log consent management practices across various business processes in alignment with DPDPA guidelines. Maintain up-to-date documentation on Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA) and privacy governance frameworks. Serve as a focal coordination point for privacy queries and data processing trackers. AI Governance & Request Management Handles end-to-end tracking of all incoming internal AI tool deployment requests and compliance evaluation forms. Actively monitors, tracks, and manages any new changes, amendments, or updates required for existing requests. Maintain central governance repositories tracking approved use-cases and risk classifications. Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Coordinate regular updates and alignment checks with individual Organizational Units (OUs) for BCP plans. Follow up on periodic business impact analyses (BIA) Assist in maintaining documentation for BCP testing logs and compliance evidence. Desktop Audits, Evidence Collection & Reporting Systematically gather audit evidence, sample sets, and artifacts across various business teams for compliance reviews. Update internal audit tracking dashboards and follow up with respective teams on pending remediation items. Drafting Documentation Creation and Development of policies and procedures. Prepare compliance presentations, update management dashboards, record high-quality meeting minutes, and issue weekly status reports.
Qualifications
& Skills BachelorÆs degree in law, Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field. 1-3 years of professional experience in Corporate Compliance, Data Privacy, Risk Governance, or Internal Audit support roles. Basic or foundational understanding of privacy landscape (e.g., DPDPA, GDPR, IT Act), Vendor Risk Governance, or BCP frameworks. Proficiency in MS Excel (trackers, basic analytics) and PowerPoint (professional dashboard layouts and presentations). Strong stakeholder coordination and persistent follow-up capabilities. Level of diligence and structural organization to handle documentation and audit evidence collection without slippage. Key Success Measures Timeliness and accuracy of UpGuard tracking, DPDPA logs, and compliance evidence collection. Proactive execution and minimal delays in stakeholder follow-ups across BCP, AI and governance tracks. Maintenance of a fully updated æAudit-Ready' documentation repository for internal desktop audits. Consistence in reporting updates, dashboards, and meeting minutes delivered to leadership.
