Transit Domain Lead plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of navigation systems, particularly those related to public transit.
At least 7+ Yrs. Mapping/Navigation experience
Transit experience is an added advantage
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for transit data pipelines, ensuring alignment with customer goals and objectives.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including transit agencies, government bodies, and operation teams.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of navigation data.
Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data analytics to improve transit data pipelines, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of transit data, working closely with data providers and partners.
Reporting: Read and analyze Tableau reports. Generate follow up summaries and insights for stakeholders, quantifying data accuracy and areas for improvement.
Feedback and Improvement: Collect user feedback and continuously iterate on the data to enhance the user experience.
Best Practices: Promote and implement best practices in data operations, data management, and data processes.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and ensure effective utilization of the transit data
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and workflows
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to innovate and enhance data workflows.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to use knowledge, facts and data to effectively solve the problems
Critical Decision Making: Ability to make timely decisions based on data, context and best practices, for new and unexpected situations
Technical aptitude: Experience troubleshooting and report software irregularities. Ability to provide follow up details.
