Role: An Urgent Opening For Key Account Executive - MT

Industry Type: FMCG

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with assigned Modern Trade accounts.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Lead and manage the field sales/merchandising team to ensure effective market execution.
  • Design, implement, and monitor Permanent Journey Plans (PJP) to maximize market coverage and productivity.
  • Ensure product availability, merchandising, and promotional execution across stores.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, supply chain, and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare MIS reports, and identify business growth opportunities.
  • Ensure timely payment collections and resolve customer concerns.
  • Track market trends and competitor activities to support business development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Modern Trade sales within the Food FMCG industry.
  • Experience in team management and PJP planning/execution.
  • Experience handling organized retail accounts and key customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/CRM systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Strong understanding of Modern Trade operations and sales processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate field teams.
  • Strong knowledge of route planning and PJP design for efficient market coverage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and prepare reports.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
