Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with assigned Modern Trade accounts.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Lead and manage the field sales/merchandising team to ensure effective market execution.
- Design, implement, and monitor Permanent Journey Plans (PJP) to maximize market coverage and productivity.
- Ensure product availability, merchandising, and promotional execution across stores.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, supply chain, and timely deliveries.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare MIS reports, and identify business growth opportunities.
- Ensure timely payment collections and resolve customer concerns.
- Track market trends and competitor activities to support business development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Modern Trade sales within the Food FMCG industry.
- Experience in team management and PJP planning/execution.
- Experience handling organized retail accounts and key customers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/CRM systems.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of Modern Trade operations and sales processes.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate field teams.
- Strong knowledge of route planning and PJP design for efficient market coverage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and prepare reports.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements.
