About the Role We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Consultant Project Controlling to support financial initiatives related to cost management, cash flow optimization, and finance transformation. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, governance, and process improvements in a highly automated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cost & Cash Management Assist in project-level cost analysis and financial reporting. Track and monitor billed, unbilled, and unapplied cash positions, while supporting resolution efforts. Support working capital initiatives through financial analysis and stakeholder coordination. Monitor cost and cash variances and escalate issues where required. Billing & Forecasting Collaborate with business teams to gather inputs for billing and revenue forecasts. Analyze variances between billing plans and actuals and assist in resolving discrepancies. Maintain dashboards and documentation to track billing performance. Finance Transformation & Automation Support finance transformation initiatives focused on touchless finance operations. Gather business requirements and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of finance tools and dashboards. Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to financial controls, governance policies, and compliance standards. Support internal reviews and audits related to cost and cash management processes. Stakeholder Management & Reporting Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders. Coordinate with service line teams, procurement, and resource management to support financial operations.
Qualifications
& Experience CA / MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification. Big 4 articleship experience or a minimum of 2 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment. Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of FieldGlass, Anaplan, or Icertis will be an added advantage. Experience in finance transformation or automation initiatives is preferred.
