As a part of Quality Team, you are responsible for overseeing vendor quality at vendors located at North Inda. Analyzing results, managing & implementing corrective actions, managing people, managing customer complaints, managing customer return product inspection and analysis of returns. Ensure on-time completion of NPD deliverables.
Role & responsibilities:
1. Vendor Quality take care of vendor quality related activities like PDI, vendor qualification, defective inspection etc at allocated vendors.
2. Quality Analysis Strong problem-solving skills, RCA of market complaints and ensure corrective actions are incorporated in product or processes. Achieve the defective reduction and COPQ reduction targets set for assigned vendors.
3. Audit Readiness and ISO Management - Maintain Documentations and prepare for internal and external audits.
4. Vendor/Supplier improvement Work with vendors to improve their processes to ensure defect free product.
5. People Management: lead the team of people who are handling defective inspection and pre-dispatch inspection at vendor end. Ensure timely inspection of both.
6. MIS: Monthly summaries of inspection at vendor end and make the monthly MIS to present to top management.
7. NPD รป take care of new product development related activities like conducting pilot runs, providing feedback, ensuring closure of actions and completing NPD documents on-time.
Preferred candidate profile:
1. Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation for quality improvement.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement initiative.
4. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.Certification in ISO will be preferred.
5. Experiencing in Auditing as well and capable in handling various kinds of Audits (BIS, ISO, third party customer or any other)
6. Good Knowledge of Ms word / excel / powerpoint is mandatory for analysis and day to day activity.
Knowledge of Lean / Six sigma tools. Certification will be added advantage.
